These smoothies are so simple to make, and is a great alternative to the highly processed, junk foods that can wreck havoc on your skin.

1. Almond Banana Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with skin-loving potassium, proteins, calcium, omega-3s, and fiber. The concoction has flaxseed oil which is great for puffy, red, and irritated skin.

2 tbsps. raw almond butter
1 tbsp. flaxseed oil
1/2 cup organic apple juice
1 small banana
1 cup ice cubes

2. Mango Yogurt Smoothie

Mangoes are rich in skin-boosting Vitamins C, E, and B6. The fish oil boosts hydration, keeping wrinkles at bay, helps prevent acne, and aids in regulating oil production.

1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup plain, low-fat, organic yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp fish oil
1 fresh mint leaf (optional)
1/2 cup ice cubes

3. Berry Detox Smoothie

This berry smoothie is infused with a potent blend of antioxidants - plus, it's a yummy way to sneak in some healthy greens, as the sweet berries can overpower the bitter taste.

1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1 tablespoon fish oil
1/4 cup chopped kale leaves
1/4 cup frozen banana
1 cup filtered water
